Welcome back for another DieCember project! Today’s card features two new dies. At the center of it is the Triangle Burst Medallion. I did some ink-blending to make this day colorful and special.

I ink-blended a rainbow on two pieces of cardstock and die-cut the Triangle Burst Medallion twice. Looking at it now, I can see that you can achieve the same look with just one ink-blended panel if you don’t mind in-laying all those pieces back into place. I used Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Blush, Cantaloupe, Lemonade, Sprout, Surf, Marine, and Bubblegum.

I kept all the pieces together on my cutting plate, flipped it over and added foam adhesive to the back to hold it all together. I die-cut the Triangle Burst Medallion one more time using gold cardstock and adhered it over the first later. I die-cut the Triangle Burst Medallion a third time using the second ink-blended panel and layered it over the other two, off-setting it just a tad.

The background is die-cut with the new Detail Tapestry Plate. I adhered my medallion to it (remember, I added foam tape to the back of it earlier to hold all the pieces together). For the sentiment, I used the Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp and die for the medallion’s center. For the sentiment strip, I used a pre-printed sentiment from the Thinking of You Sentiment Strips.
