Today starts another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! It’s a sketch challenge and these always stretch my imagination. I have to try really hard not to be too literal because you can really interpret this sketch however you like – it’s meant to be only inspiration for your creation!

I saw these stars covering the background as a template and decided to make a holiday card – I’ve gotta get as many made as possible, so why not?! I flipped through my die-bin to look for something that was just the right size and decided to use the Mini Wreath die for today’s card.

You could create it in traditional greens and reds but I decided to make it more colorful by creating wreaths in rainbow colors – using all Lawn Fawn Cardstocks. Colors used are: Guava, Ballet Slippers, Sunflower, Cilantro, Mermaid, Peacock, and Sugar Plum. The wreaths are a single layer cut from the cardstock mentioned and then I used Chili Pepper Cardstock to die-cut the bows and berries.

After piecing together all my wreaths, I laid them out on a piece of Vanilla Malt cardstock to give my background a slight tint of color. When I was happy with the layout, I adhered the wreaths down. Next, I attached my bows and berries. To give the berries more interest, I added some red glitter adhesive over them to give them some dimension and sparkle.

To finish, I stamped and embossed my sentiment with a stamp from the Snow Day stamp set. I thought the font was so fun and I love embossing it in white over black cardstock and cutting around the words to give it more character. And of course, a card isn’t done without some sequins!
