Hi, Friends!

I have a fun stitching card to share with you for the holidays. I’ll be sharing a few this month and this is just one of cards from the Merry Stitchmas Collection from Spellbinders. Today’s card features the Diamond Stitch die.

To make today’s card, I die-cut the Diamond Stitch three times in white. Then I used Copic markers to color the diamonds on each diamond strip to create the pattern that you see (G20, G24, R81, RV29).

Since the diamonds are so colorful, I decided to stitch with only gold thread for this card. The dies have embossed lines that show you where stitch lines should go – but you can definitely create any pattern that you like. This pattern reminded me of a argyle print.

When done stitching, I adhered the strips to a cream-colored panel. I trimmed it down to mat a cardbase and finished by attaching a sentiment foiled from Yana’s Christmas Sentiments. I hope you like it!
