I have a fun card to share today using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Christmas Minis dies. This set is too cute and cuts a wonderful array of holiday images. To create my card, I combined the Christmas Minis with a few other products/brands.

I began by die-cutting all of these adorable images using mostly Simon Says Stamp cardstock, in addition to Neenah Desert Storm for some kraft on the gingerbread man. Simon Says Stamp cardstocks used: Green Apple, Lipstick Red, Soft Navy, Cream, Vellum, Matte Gold. I ink-blended a few of them to give them more shading. The Distress Oxide colors I used for shading are Gathered Twigs, Fired Brick, and Pine Needles.

To display these adorable images on my card, I used the Mama Elephant Grid Window die. To create a bigger space in the center and to distribute the 10 images evenly, I snipped the middle grid to merge the center squares. It leaves a good space for a sentiment. I die cut the Grid Window die using white cardstock. To make the background colorful, I ink-blended another white panel with Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. I ink-blended each color on opposite ends and when they merged together, they created the purple in the center. The frame is adhered over this ink-blended panel with foam adhesive for dimension.

I attached my images, balancing the colors on the grid and used foam adhesive to match the height of the Grid Window. To finish, I used Cathy Zielske’s Joyful die. I’ve used this die a few times this season and it’s an obvious favorite! I die cut the halo from vellum and the word Joyful from Matte Gold cardstock to coordinate with the other gold die-cuts accents from the Christmas Minis images. I adhered the Joyful die cut in the center opening, again with foam adhesive to match the height of the rest of the other elements.
