Hello, Friends!

I have one more card to share with you using the Holiday Flora collection from Susan Tierney-Cochburn. I’ve paired a few sets to create today’s wreath card: Woodland Wreath and Feathered Friends, Poinsettia, Winterberry and Mistletoe, and Pine Cone and Evergreen Bough with Ladybugs.

You can definitely use fewer dies to simplify your wreath, but I love all the different types of foliage here – not to mention those ladybugs! I die-cut my poinsettia from yellow and red cardstock and the foliage with green cardstock and added variations in color to them using Copic markers (G46, YG99, R37, R39).

To add interest and shine, I used flock on the pine needles, Nuvo drops on the berries and stamen, and clear lacquer on the ladybugs! All the details is what makes this card so special. It’s also very helpful to have Susan’s Garden Ultimate Tool Kit to help shape all the petals!

Once I had all my pieces prepared, I prepared my background panel by foiling it with a rectangle frame using the Essentials Duo Lines Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. I arranged my wreath and finished by stamping my sentiment from the Holiday Quotes stamp set.
