Hello, Friends!

I have more inspiration to share from the Simon Says Stamp To The Moon Release! Today’s card uses a few new products so let’s dive right in!

I began by working on my Layered Birdie. This die is one piece, so I trimmed different colored cardstock to size to die-cut all the parts and pieced him together. I ink-blended a bit of Bubblegum ink to his tummy to add some color and used an R30 Copic marker to give him some rosy cheeks too.

Next, I worked on the Wreath of Love. This die is also one piece. I die-cut it once using Brown Woodgrain cardstock and then again using white cardstock to color with Copic markers. I ink-blended the woodgrain heart with a few areas with Cappuccino ink to give it some interest. After coloring, I adhered the woodgrain heart frame over the full wreath.

Bird Wing:  BG45
Pinks:  [R30, R32], [RV10, RV13, RV14]  
Greens:  G03, G07

For the background, I embossed a white panel using the new Geometric Lattice Embossing Folder and ink-blended softly around the edges using Bubblegum ink. I adhered my wreath what the heck? foam adhesive and finished by attaching a sentiment from the Reverse Sun and Moon Sentiment Strips. For additional interest, I added a few white gel highlights over the bird’s cheek and wings and some glitter accents on the little flowers’ centers.
