Hi, Friends!

I’m back to share another card using dies from Susan Tierney-Cochburn’s Holiday Flora Collection! Today’s card features the Gathering Basket and Christmas Cactus.

I die-cut the cactus and flowers using white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers (G21, G24, G46, R35, R37, R39). My basket is die-cut from kraft cardstock. I ink-blended it with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink to give it more shading.

I foiled my background using the Glimmer Foil Framed Details set. While I was foiling, I also foiled my sentiment from the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips set.

The most tedious part of this card is coloring the cacti, but once that’s done, putting the card together is fun! I love how realistic it looks and wouldn’t mind having a plant like this around for the holidays! I hope you like it!
