Spellbinders – Sparkling Mandala

Hi, Friends!

The holidays are almost here! EEK!! I’m squeezing in one last stitching card using a Spellbinders Sparkling Mandala die from the Merry Stitchmas Collection.

I die-cut my mandala in white cardstock and stitched it with embroidery floss and gold thread. When I was done stitching, I set it aside to foil the background using the Snowflake Sparkle Foil Plate. To give the panel some color, I ink-blended it with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink around the edges.

The opening on this foiled panel is perfect for the Sparkling Mandala. I adhered my stitched snowflake in the center of the foiled panel using gfoam adhesive to give it lots of dimension.

To finish, I foiled a sentiment from Yana’s Christmas Sentiments over black cardstock and attached it just under the snowflake mandala.
