Hi Friends!
I’m a part of an Instagram Hop celebrating their Valentine release! Be sure to head there and comment along the way for your chance to win a $25 gift card. Today is day 2 of a 3 day hop too so you can go back and join tomorrow to increase your chance. I made two cards using the Sending Love set, Hugs Script die, and Scattered Hearts stencil.

To make my cards, I began by stamping and coloring my images. I had to take my son to tennis so while I sat in the car, I colored with the limited amount of markers that I brought along with me.
Monkey: E31, E33, E35, E37, E40, E41, E43
Envelopes: E30
Hearts and Mailbox: R32, R35, R37, R39
Gift and Dog Collar: BG10, BG11, BG34, BG13
Bird: B00, B02, B04, B06
Fox: E11, E13, E15, E18, E40, E42
Raccoon and Mailbox: C0, C2, C4, C6, C8, E40
Dog and box: E41, E30, E31, E34, E35, E37, E39

My first background is ink-blended with Blush ink. I ink-blended the Scattered Hearts stencil first, then went over it with a cloud border stencil using the Build A Rainbow stencil from Simon Says Stamp. I saw Nichol Sphor do something similar and wanted to try it – she is so good with layering backgrounds!

I die-cut a stitched border using the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp and attached my images and embossed sentiments.

My second card is similar. Instead of using a second stencil, I used only the Scattered Hearts stencil and introduced a purple ink to fade into the pink. I added the stitched border again before attaching my images.

This card uses the Hugs Script die. To give it more dimension, I die cut it three times to stack. I finished by attaching my images to create my scene.

I hope you enjoyed these cards! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the Instagram Hop for more inspiration!

Caly, so cute! When I was in junior high there was a group of cartoon critters that I liked. I don’t remember the name, but the one that I liked was named Ricky the Raccoon. I even had a night gown with his face on it. Now it’s going to drive me nuts trying to remember their name. πππ Adorable cards!

Adorable! I’ll have to tell you my raccoon story sometime. Involves a nest of babies between the siding and drywall of the bedroom wall. π² Your card is a delight – SO cute! TFS –
