Hi Friends!

I’m sharing a Mama Elephant card today using the Owl Are You and Note of Thanks sets. These sets are newer and I’ve paired it with an older product for the background – the Leafy Cover die.

I stamped and colored the Owl Are You images using Copic markers.

Greens:  YG06, YG09
Orange:  YR82
Pinks:  R20, RV11, RV13, RV14
Tree Branch:  E21, E23
Owl:  E40, E41, E43, E30, E31, E35, E37

Next, I ink-blended two white panels. For the background piece, I used Rustic Wilderness only. The Leafy Cover panel is ink-blended with both Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. Both panels are ink-blended more saturated around the edges and get lighter towards the center.

After cutting the Leafy Cover die into the top panel, I centered my sentiment and stamped it from the Note of Thanks set. I attached the Leafy Cover panel over the background panel using foam adhesive, then finished with my images.

It’s a simple card, but I hope you like it! I love the sweet owl images and the leafy background is a great backdrop for them. Thanks for visiting today!
