Hey Friends!

I’m sharing a fun and simple card today using a few products from Simon Says Stamp. Have you tried/made very many mini slimline cards? I’m a creature of habit and it’s been difficult for me to remember to make a card in that size. It’s much easier when there is a die that is just the right size! The Mini Slimline Lattice die is intricate and makes a beautiful background!

My panel is die-cut from white cardstock. To make it more colorful, I cut a few colored cardstock strips in Doll Pink, Cotton Candy, Audrey Blue, Surf Blue, and Lemon Chiffon. The stripes are a tad less than 1/2″ just to make sure they fit in between the areas I wanted them to fit perfectly.

I laid my cardstock strips at a diagonal and overlapped some in the opposite direction . I wanted a bit more interest, so I also added a sliver of Gold Glitter Cardstock to the sides of my strips. I adhered them directly to the edges of my Mini Slimline Lattice on the back side and reinforced with a few dots of glue.

I finished my card by adhering the panel over a mini slimline cardbase using foam adhesive and embossing a sentiment from the Love Garden Greetings set with a gold glitter embossing powder. I hope you like it!
