There’s a special surprise for Valentine’s Day and Simon Says Stamp packaged it up into a new Limited Edition Card Kit!

I combined the Happy Mail stamp, Heart Chain stencil, and I Think I’ll Keep You die for my card today. I started by ink-blending the background using the Heart Chain stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar).

For the sentiment, I die-cut the I Think I’ll Keep You die from Cotton Candy Cardstock (included in the kit) and created an ombre effect using Seedless Preserves to ink-blend from the bottom up on each row of letters. I gave them some interest too by adding Glossy Accents on the bottom of the letters and sprinkling Unicorn Dust over the wet adhesive.

I stacked the I Think I’ll Keep You die with two more layers of white cardstock, then adhered it all over vellum. I attached the sentiment over my ink-blended background, then worked on the images.

There are some adorable images from the Happy Mail set – I just had to color a few for my card today. I stamped and colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut around the images to adhere with foam adhesive to my card. I hope you like it! Be sure to check out the full kit contents!
