Hey Friends!
I’m on the Lawn Fawn Blog today and have that project to share with you! It’s a fun interactive card using the Swish N Pop Pull Tab die. The images are from the Unicorn Picnic and A Little Sparkle stamp sets and make for a magical sky scene.

I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers.
Pinks: RV11, RV14, R20
Oranges: YR00, YR02
Yellows: Y11, Y15
Teals: BG11, BG13
Blues: B0000, B00
Browns: E50, E31, E35
Grays: W00, W1, W3, W6
I used the Puffy Cloud Border dies to create a backdrop that would hide the Swish N Pop Pull Tab mechanism. I ink-blended my cloud borders with Mermaid Lagoon and my background with Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Inks. Then I worked on putting my Stitched Rainbow and Swish N Pop Pull Tab mechanism together.
I finished by creating my scene using my colored images. I love that the rainbow swishes in and out of view! I hope you like it too! Thanks so much for visiting today!

Your videos are always superb. I have avoided this swish n pop set b/c I just don’t know that I can get everything I would need to do lined up/positioned just right. It intimidates me. But I LOVE the card and I have the unicorn set as well as the rainbow die set. I might be able to replicate it as a less interactive card. I love the color scheme! TFS –

I like scene cards. I’m just not sure that I’m very good at them. A long time ago, I made a scene card for my uncle. He loved fishing so I made him a fishing card. It’s a bunny in a boat who is fishing. Girl, I had palm tree islands, waves, the sun, etc. I think it was easy for me because I loved my Tio Lolo so much. It was cute, girl! 😂😂😂 This was back when I was only a few short years into card making. I had to draw my own birds, though. haha I was proud that I did very basic color blending (I didn’t know that’s what I was doing) with a makeup sponge. I blended the colors on my sun. I LOVE suns, Caly! The moon, too. Anyway, my uncle loved it and had it up on his mantle. I miss my uncle. He was the first Hispanic Fire Chief, which helped me make friends with cutie-patootie fire fighters. 😂😂😂 Of course, once they found out that he was my uncle, they disappeared. I told my uncle that he was messing up my game! 😂😂😂 Girl, he encouraged me to find an SAFD boyfriend, but, alas, I remain single. haha haha I came close, though. 😂😂😂 Enjoy your evening!

Girl, if I had to draw everything for a card it would be a stick person card. I can’t draw to save my life. haha haha 😂😂😂 I really do need to get on board and get back to crafting. I need all new ink pads, though. And that costs money. Maybe soon. I do have my eye on those Pinkfresh inks. 😀 Have a beautiful day, Caly.
