I have a fun card to share today! The Love You Bunches set has several images, but as soon as I saw the envelope image, I knew I wanted to use it to create a background. I used a Misti Grid Transparency to help me line up the image and repeat stamp to cover an entire A2-sized panel. I embossed them all in white over Distress Watercolor Cardstock to watercolor with Distress Inks.

I chose 9 colors and worked with one at a time to get through the rainbow. I squished the pink onto my Magnetic Glass Mat and added water to apply the pigment onto each envelope. I worked in layers, drying the pigment after each application to get the texture and look I wanted on each envelope.

Distress Ink colors used: Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick

Once I finished applying ink to all my envelopes, I die-cut my panel with the largest Stitched Rectangle die to give it a stitched border. I adhered this panel over some Fog cardstock using foam adhesive to give it dimension and to flatten it out some.

I chose a sentiment and embossed it. Before adhering, I added some foam adhesive and used gold thread to give it more interest. I hope you like it!
