Hello Friends!

I have a magical card to share today using a die and stamp kit from Poppy Stamps! The Whittle Rainbow Unicorn Kit is fully stocked with all the magical dies and a sentiment set perfect for all your cards and for any occasion. The photo below doesn’t even show all the dies included! There’s a heart and also wings for the unicorn! So many ways to create!

To keep my card more simple today, I used only Copic markers to color my die-cut pieces. I die-cut everything in white and colored one image at a time to create the colorful elements.

Reds:  R21, R22, R24
Oranges:  Y11, YR02, YR04
Yellows:  Y0000, Y000, Y02, Y17
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG13
Blues:  B0000, B000, B01, B02
Purples:  V000, V01, V04
Pinks:  RV10, RV13, RV14, R30 (Blush)
Grays:  C00, C0, C2

To give my scene more dimension and interest, I die-cut an oval frame using a Nested Oval die. On a smaller white panel, I ink-blended a sky using a purple/pink and blue/teal ink (linked below). It’s simple and subtle and will just give the background a hint of color for the colorful die-cut pieces.

I used foam adhesive to attach the frame to the ink-blended panel, attached it to a cardbase, then started building my scene. I attached the rainbow and clouds on first, then the unicorns. To fill in the rest of the open areas, I used the other elements and adhered them with foam adhesive for even more dimension.

I finished my card today by using some Glossy Accents to add adhesive to areas that I wanted to highlight with shimmer and sprinkled on some Unicorn Dust Glitter. Last but not least, I stamped and embossed my sentiment.
