The card I’m sharing today uses the Chinese Lantern Stem from the Good Luck Charm release. The flower pods change from green to red like maple leaves and are beautiful! This time of the year, it reminds me of the Lunar New Year celebrations and is why I chose red for the sentiment and matting.

I die-cut the Chinese Lantern Stem using Green Leaf cardstock and added some red ink at the bottom of the outlines of the pods using Pucker Pawsitively Saturated Ink (PSI). The die also comes with backing pieces for the back of the outlines, so I die-cut those in white and ink-blended them with Field and Pucker PSI.

On a white card panel, I ink-blended Melon and Cadette PSI at a diagonal before adhering my Chinese Lantern Stem. I flooded the lantern pods with Glossy Accents to give them some shine. Next, I worked on my sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment from the Clean Line Stacks set over Schoolhouse Red cardstock and die-cut it with a coordinating die. I attached it to my card using foam adhesive and finished by matting my card over another piece of Schoolhouse Red cardstock. I then finished by attaching a few gold sequins from the new End of the Rainbow Sequin Mix. I hope you like this simple card! I appreciate you stopping by today!
