I have one card to share now and I will share another tomorrow.

My card uses alcohol ink that’s included in the kit. There is a pearlized yellow in the kit that I didn’t use, but as you can see, the two colors (Gumball and Laguna), create a beautiful blend and separation of multiple colors. I used 3-4 drops of blending solution and 3-4 drops of Gumball alcohol ink and used my air blower to push the ink around until it dried, then I moved onto the Laguna color.

The kit comes with the 6″ x 8″ Better with Mom set. There are beautiful images and sentiments that I used for today’s card. I stamped and colored the floral spray with Copic markers and fussy-cut the image because I don’t have the die. The butterflies are embossed over vellum and also fussy-cut.

The sentiment I used is embossed in white over black cardstock and you guessed it – fussy cut as well! There is a die set for this stamp set that is sold separately, if you’re interested. I adhered the floral spray and sentiment to the alcohol ink background using foam adhesive. For the butterflies, I used liquid adhesive and added the glue to just the body of the butterfly so the wings could be flared up a bit for interest.
