Hey there!

Altenew is celebrating their 8th Anniversary today with a Blog Hop. The celebration is several days long so be sure to check out the Altenew Blog for more inspiration. I’m thrilled to be able to create a card and to celebrate their birthday with them using the Endless Florescence set.

I used a no-line coloring ink to stamp the beautiful large image over watercolor paper. My card is 5″ x 7″ so you can see that the floral arrangement extends beyond the 7″ width. It can be really versatile if you don’t mind trimming the image for your card. I left it full-sized to show it’s gorgeous arrangement!

I watercolored my image using the Altenew Artists’ Watercolor Pan. After I was done watercoloring, I die-cut the image and set it aside to work on a background. Using a piece of Fog cardstock, I ink-blended the panel with Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. I then trimmed it down and attached my image with foam adhesive. To give it more interest, I splattered the panel with white paint.

I finished my card by stamping and embossing my sentiment and fussy-cutting around the words before adhering it to my card. I added a few iridescent sequins in various areas and my card is done! I hope you like it! There are lots more inspiration to see so be sure to check out the blog hop!
