A new card kit from Simon Says Stamp is here! Something that really excited me was the kit-exclusive ink-cubes in 4 Pawsitively Saturated Ink colors!

I used all of them for my card today and paired them with a coordinating color to create depth and shading on my Brushed Flowers.

The Brushed Flowers set has lots of flowers and stems and I decided to create a full background using the vibrant inks. I stamped one color/type of flower at a time until I filled an A2 panel. I stamped with a lighter color first, then went in with a darker shade using a finger dauber to apply darker ink to stamp again until I was happy with the depth of color. The colors will be linked below for you!

The kit also comes with a jar of clear embossing powder – an essential in my stash! I stamped my sentiment using a crisp black pigment ink and embossed it with the clear embossing powder from the card kit. The kit also comes with a sheet of Doll Pink cardstock, so I matted my card with it. It coordinates with the Rose ink well!

To finish today’s card, I embellished it with some iridescent drops to give them a bit more dimension and texture. I hope you like it!
