I’m so excited to share today’s card with you! It uses product from The Greetery’s Confections Collection and is a card I made for Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine. You can view the full catalog HERE. The Greetery’s Confections Collection is so much fun and I used a few different sets to create my card.

The Sweet Tooth set is filled with fun treats (donuts, macarons, truffles, etc.), but because I made this card to pair with a second card for the magazine, I kept it simple to coordinate and decided to make a rainbow of macarons. I used Simon Says Stamp inks to stamp each macaron. Ink colors will be linked below, if you’re interested!

There are three simple layers to the macarons. The bottom and top domes, the feet on the domes, and then the cream filling. To give the domes more depth, I also used finger daubers to apply ink on the edges with the first dome layer of the stamp. When done, I die-cut them all. I love that the die cuts around the macarons without a white border. I die-cut a blank to create a die-cut template to make sure it die-cut in the perfect place. Gina K. does this all the time and you can see it done in her videos 😊.

Next, I used the Frosted Frames die and die-cut a fun border using a sheet of Made With Love patterned paper from Doodlebug. I used some desk tape to hold the swirl border to the outer frame. Before attaching it to a card base, I ink-blended the background with pink and aqua ink and splattered it with pink paint. I finished by embossing and die-cutting sentiments from the All Kinds of Happy sets. If rainbow macarons don’t make you happy…well…there are free hugs at my house! 🥰
