Hey there!
I have a unique card to share today – unique for me, that is! Today’s card features the Dimensional Stars Stencils as well as the Dimensional Stars Embossing Folder from the Happy and Joyful release. These products coordinate and pair up nicely together or can be used on their own.
I started today’s card by inking up the inside of the Dimensional Stars Embossing Folder. I started by stamping the entire de-bossed side with Seafoam ink. Then using the Ocean ink, I swiped them from the edge of the embossing folder towards the center – that’s why you see the organic streaks in the panel. This leaves the embossed stars white.
This is where the Dimensional Stars Stencils come in. There are 3 stencils and they layer over the stars from the embossing folder. I used 3 different colors of yellow from the Pawsitively Saturated Trio 3 set to ink each layer of the stars (Lemonade, Sunbeam, Citrine). I trimmed down my panel after ink-blending the stars and splattered the panel with white paint.
The sentiment on my card uses the Darling Baby stamp set and the Baby Words die set. I embossed the stamped sentiment in white over black cardstock and die-cut the Baby Words in white and Matte Gold cardstock to layer and off-set for a drop shadow.
I hope you like this card! It’s so hard to get the inking perfect on this card, but I’m going to embrace the organic look to this card. Thanks for stopping by!
