Hey Friends!

I got this Be A Mermaid set to make my daughter some cupcake toppers for her birthday. I chickened out of throwing her a birthday party for several reasons. Since I’m no longer making cupcake toppers with these mermaid tails, I made a fun infinity shaker card instead.

On a white panel, I used the Mermaid Scales Stencil and ink-blended pink, purple, teal and blue in random areas. I covered the panel with ink and then trimmed it down to turn it into a shaker. I cut down some thin acetate from stamp/die packaging to wrap around my panel to make a sleeve to add my Seashore sequins.

Once my shaker was made, I stamped my shell, starfish and mermaid tails and embossed them with white embossing powder to do some emboss-resist with the same ink-colors from the background. This time, I was more intense with the ink because I wanted it to stand out over the shaker background.

I added my images to the top of my shaker and finished by embossing my sentiments over black cardstock and attaching them over the mermaid tales with foam adhesive. I hope you like this colorful card! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
