Today is release day for My Favorite Things! I’m sharing two cards using a few products from the latest release and hope it inspires you!

My first cards uses the Perfect Poppies Dienamics. I die-cut all the pieces 3 times to get 9 flowers. I die-cut them all in pink cardstock and ink-blended with Watermelon and Cherry Inks in various saturations to get different shades of color.

After piecing all the flowers together, I ink-blended some Sprout and Fairway ink onto a white panel and stamped the Pure Poppy images using Fairway ink to cover my background. As you can see, most of it is covered up by the Perfect Poppies I adhered over the top. After stamping the sentiment from the Everyday Scripted Greetings set, I splattered the panel with white paint. This card is a 5″ x 7″ card to accommodate all the poppies!

MY second card uses the adorable Thank My Lucky Stars set. I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers. After die-cutting, I set them aside to work on the background. Starting with a piece of light blue cardstock, I ink-blended the panel’s outer edges with Marine and Royal ink to create the center glow.

After ink-blending, I die-cut the panel using the new Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline die. The largest die from this set cuts a 3″ x 6″ mini slimline panel. I finished by adhering my images with foam adhesive and attaching an embossed sentiment using the Itty Bitty Basics stamp set. My panel is then matted on a cardbase that is 3 1/4″ x 6 1/4″.
