Hello there!
It’s time for the debut of a new Simon Says Stamp card kit! The July 2022 Card Kit – You Shine is available now and will begin shipping June 16th!
The main stamp set of the kit, You Shine is a culmination of all things summer from butterflies, to flowers, to lemons!
The kit also contains a package of Tim Holtz’s Idea-ology Window Frames Baseboards and a bottle of Foundry Wax in Gilded. I brushed on some foundry wax onto the windows and embossed them and gave them a metallic look – it definitely distresses them and gives them interest!
For my first card, I stamped and colored lemons to compliment my window.
I used a piece of yellow gingham paper from the kit using Simple Stories’ Simple Vintage Lemon Twist Paper. Both windows have a layer of vellum behind them to soften the color in the window.
My second card is more of the same. I stamped and colored the flower box, then adhered it to my window with a layer of vellum underneath. Then, I adhered it over a piece of patterned paper from Simple Stories.
Both cards are finished with an embossed sentiment from the You Shine stamp set from the kit.
