Simon Says Stamp – Dream Big Release Blog Hop – Fab Florals

Hi Friends!

My card today features two coordinating dies. The Fab Floral Plate is a coverplate die and the Fab Flower die cuts single flowers and its outline. I die-cut the Fab Floral Plate once in white, then used the Fab Flower die to die-cut just the outline in a rainbow of colors.

On the front of a card base, I ink0blended a rainbow using Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Guava, Lemonade, Seafoam, and Orchid. I overlapped the colors and let the colors blend and form new colors on their own (like the orange and green). Then, I used foam tape to adhere the Fab Floral Plate layer over it for dimension.

I attached my rainbow Fab Flower die-cuts in cascading order down at a diagonal on top of my panel and then used some yellow sequins from the new Sunflower Field Sequins to added centers to each of the flowers. I finished by adding a sentiment that I embossed from the new Take Note set – this is another fun set and I’ll be sharing a card next week!
