I hope you’re enjoying the inspiration I’ve been sharing from the Simon Says Stamp Dream Big Release! Today, I have a simple card to share using one of my favorite sets from this release. We all love our art supplies and art stamp sets and dies. The Take Note set features large images that create borders for your cards, as well as individual images for you to create whatever you’d like.

I stamped one of the border images over a white panel and colored them all carefully with Copic markers. there are no dies for the border dies, so I made sure to add dimension using blue markers to add shading to one side of the images for a drop shadow.

I also added some white gel highlights to create more interest. I trimmed my panel to mat a cardbase before attaching it down.

To give my card some real dimension, I stamped and embossed the sentiments and used a coordinating die to die-cut the larger sentiment. I trimmed the sub-sentiment with a paper trimmer and finished my card by attaching them using foam adhesive. It’s super simple, but I hope you like it! This card is all about the art supplies and the coloring of them.
