Hello there!
Gina K. Designs has a new release tonight! I’m sharing a card using a set by Lisa Hetrick called Treat Yourself. Ice cream is awesome…even better with a waffle cone! So the same should apply to floral bouquets, right?
This stamp set has open and solid images. The cone and the large lily stem are the only images I had to color with Copics (YR30, E31, E35, YG06, YG09). For the foliage and lilies, I stamped with Gina K. Designs ink pads (Innocent Pink, Passionate Pink, Faded Brick, Lucky Clover, Fresh Asparagus, Christmas Pine).
After stamping my flowers, I dabbed on a darker pink at the centers and stamped again until i was happy with the gradient on the petals. I didn’t have coordinating dies, so I fussy cut all the images. It took some patience, but it is the way! I’ll link the die set below, I just didn’t have it to use when I made the card.
To finish my card, I used the Swiss Dot embossing folder to add texture to a white panel. Then, I splattered it with some teal paint before adding my cone and arranging my bouquet with foam adhesive for dimension.
