Hello, friends!

I’m back today to share more inspiration from the Simon Says Stamp Dream Big Release! Today’s card is a simple one. The Talavera Vine background cling stamp is a solid background stamp. I try and add shading using a second ink color.

I stamped the image first using Tidepool (the lighter) ink. Then to give it darker areas, I used a finger dauber to dab on Aegean ink and stamped it a few times to intensify the color. To give my panel more interest, I splattered it with watered-down Aegean ink and white paint.

While my background panel dried, I worked on die-cuting the Sword Fern die-cuts. I die-cut once in white and then again in Matte Silver cardstock to adhere together for a slight drop-shadow. I adhered this at an angle over my background panel to give it a focal point.

To ground and finish my card, I stamp and embossed a sentiment using the new Big and Bold stamp and die set. I hope you like it!
