Simon Says Stamp – Dimensional Cubes

I’m using another fun stencil today! The Dimensional Cubes Stencil set is a 3 layer set and I’m sure that you’ve seen lots of amazing cards using this stencil by now. There are a few ways to use it and you can start with any layer you wish, but I’ll share my process below.

I started with the most open layer. I sprayed it with Pixie Spray and used it first. I used the Waffle Flower Stencil Mat to keep it all in place and stenciled a light layer of ink in rainbow order. I used Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Watermelon, Lemonade, Cadette, and Orchid and allowed colors to form on their own between the primary colors.

Keeping that initial stencil in place, I used the “triangle” stencil layer to ink-blend a more saturated layer of color to give it more interest. I did rotate the stencil 4 turns to get 4 different shades of color with the same inks in the base layer. When done, I trimmed my panel and adhered it to a card base using foam adhesive.

I embossed a sentiment from the Big and Bold set and attached it with foam adhesive as well. To finish, I used rainbow colored sequins from the Coral Burst Mix and the Rainbow Confetti Mix. I hope you like this card! I love that this stencil can be used to create lots of different background color combinations!
