Hello friends!

It’s been a while since I did no-line watercoloring. I felt the Magnolia Apple Blossom set from the Simon Says Stamp Dream Big release would be a perfect opportunity for it.

I stamped my image with a no-line ink and began watercoloring with Daniel Smith Watercolors. I started with the large magnolia bloom, then the apple blossoms, then the foliage.

Daniel Smith watercolors used:  Quinacridone Red, Quinacridone Violet, Hooker’s Green, Sepia, Quinacridone Gold

After watercoloring, I used a black drawing pen to add details to the flower centers. I prepared a background panel by ink-blending some gray and purple ink using Heather and Earl Pawsitively Saturated Inks. After adhering the image with foam adhesive for dimension, I splattered the panel with white and green paint.

I finished today’s card by stamping a sentiment from the Beautiful Friend stamp set directly onto the card panel. The ink color behind my flowers is a new one for me and I really like it for this bouquet. I hope you like my card and that it inspires you to create! Thanks so much for visiting today!
