Hello!

Pretty Pink posh is kicking off their new release today with a 3-day blog hop. Today is day 1 and we’re so excited to share inspiration using products from this fabulous Halloween release!

I made two cards today. Both cards feature fun new layering stencils and are complimented with new stamp and die sets too.

My first card features the Ghost Friends stamp set. I stamped and colored them with Copic markers before setting them aside to work on a background. For the background, I used the Layered Ghosts stencils. There are three layers. A layer with the ghost shapes, a layer with ghost faces which I didn’t use, and a layer of stars. I applied white pigment ink for the ghosts over black cardstock, then used gold ink for the stars.

The stars go all the way down but don’t show up well in the photos. The sentiment uses the new Boo Script which I die-cut and colored with some yellow Copics.

My second card uses the Layered Candy Corn and Candy Treats dies. There are lots of fun treats in the Candy Treats die set but I didn’t get a chance to use them because I focused on the candy corn theme. For the background, I ink-blended my candy corn with orange and yellow ink. For the top portion of the candy corn, I used white texture paste. Once it was dry, I turned my panel into an infinity shaker and filled it with gold and black stars.

I didn’t have a “sweet” or fun sentiment to go with candy corn, so I opted for the all-occasion Hello Script. I die-cut it 3 times for dimension and adhered it to the top of my infinity shaker with my 3 candy corn treats die-cut from the Candy Treats dies.
