Hey there!

I’m on the Simon Says Stamp Blog today, sharing a card for Lawn Fawn. I’m using the Beary Rainy Day set from the spring release. I know spring is long gone, but here in the midwest, we get summer storms, so this theme still applies for me 😁.

On a white panel, I embossed the rain drops, sentiment and puddle. Then I used Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks to ink-blend for some emboss-resist. I used a damp watercolor brush to lift ink from the raindrops, puddle, and splashes. Then I splattered the panel with some water and blue paint.

While my background panel dry, I moved onto my stamped images from the Beary Rainy Day set. I colored with Copic  markers and made everything colorful to stand out against the dark and rainy background panel that I created.

Yellows:  Y11, Y15
Greens:  G40,YG06, YG09
Blues:  [B000, B02] [BG02, BG05, BG07]
Purples:  V01, V05, V09
Browns:  E50, E30, E31, E34
Grays:  C0, C1, C3, C4

I finished by attaching all my colorful images to the background panel using foam adhesive for some dimension.  I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting today!
