Altenew – October 2022 Stamps/Dies/Stencil/More Release

Hey there!

I’m joining Altenew for their October Stamps/Dies/Stencil/More release today and have 2 cards to share. I used two very different sets and created two slimline cards with similar layouts and hope you like it!

My first card uses the Gracious Peony set. The image is large – you would need a 5″ x 7″ card to hold the entire image without cutting any overhang. I stamped the image twice to ink-blend to have enough variety in orientation for today’s slimline card.

This card features the following products:

ALT Gracious Peonies Stencils (I used 4 of 5)
ALT Metallic Watercolor (splatters)

Inks used: Carnation, Rose, Celery, Pearfection, Cheeky (linked below)

My second card features the Cherry Blossom Bunch set. Like before, I stamped twice so get enough images to cover my slimline panel. I also used some masking fluid on the centers and stamen so I could ink-blend it yellow after the flowers were done.

Inks used: Guava, Cherry, Lemonade, Sprout, Field, Cheeky (linked below)

Both backgrounds are ink-blended lightly with Cheeky ink. The images are attached using foam tape for dimension and then splattered for interest. To finish, I embossed sentiments from the coordinating stamp sets and attached them to my cards using foam adhesive.
