Have you tried watercoloring embossed imaged? The Just a Note release from Simon Says Stamp has a few new embossing folders and the Darcy Bouquet is great for coloring!

I embossed my image over watercolor cardstock and used a variety of Daniel Smith watercolors to watercolor the raised areas of the embossed image. It looks intimidating, but I think it’s easier than no-line watercoloring!

I splattered my panel with some dark green paint when I was done painting to give it texture. Then, I matted the image over Fog cardstock. I finished with a simple embossed sentiment from the new Plant Sentiments set.
