Tim Holtz – French Garden

Hello there!

My project today uses a few new Tim Holtz sets from Stampers Anonymous with coordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp!

I stamped the French Garden set with a no-line coloring ink and watercolored the image with Daniel Smith Watercolors. I only used two – Quinacridone Rose and Sap Green. These colors are great staple colors for flowers for me.

On a piece of cream cardstock, I stamped and embossed the Floristry set for a patterned background that I ink-blended in the center with Cabbage ink. Next, using the Sign Painter set, I stamped the word bloom with Cabbage and Kale Ink. I used Cabbage first, then applied Kale ink with a Sponge Applicator to get the blend of color on the letters. For the splatter, I use Rustic Wilderness Distress Paint.
