Hi, Friends!
We’re celebrating Trinity Stamps’ 1 Year Anniversary today! Happy Birthday to them! Their new release is a great one. I’m especially impressed and excited about their stencils! On today’s project, I’ve combined stamps, dies, and stencils from the new release to share with you.
I started by stamping the large cupcake from the Sweet Surprise stamp set using a light ink to do some no-line coloring with Copic Markers (R00, RV11, R85, E50, E21). After coloring, I die-cut my image and added chunky glitter over it to give it some sparkle. Admittedly, I didn’t notice that I had colored the bottom layer as frosting instead of cake – OOPS! Taniesa, the owner of of Trinity Stamps said “Let’s face it, cupcakes are all about the frosting anyway!” I LOVE IT…ha!
Before die-cutting the narrow scallop card, I ink-blended a piece of cardstock with Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers. Then I used the Layered Confetti Stencils to add the pretty streamers above the cupcake using Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry ink. The sentiment is stamped on black cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. I trimmed the sentiment to add the word sweet using a die from the coordinating die set. I cut down a card base for my teal panel and then began working on my narrow envelope. The Narrow Card & Envelope Die creates both the envelope you see in my photo and the scalloped panel on my card.
I die cut the pieces and adhered them together using strong adhesive. The front of the envelope was ink-blended with residual ink from the streamers on the card front. Then I used the Layered Confetti Stencils again to add the same streamers to the envelope. To finish, I stamped the “let’s celebrate” sentiment using black ink. I just love that the card has a matching envelope – the dies are so much fun!

Great card and envelope set! Personally I always ice my cupcakes so there’s no cake showing. ๐ Love the streamers you created with the stencil. They add a really fun touch. thanks for the inspiration!

You can never have too much icing. Nobody would
have noticed the extra icing if you hadn’t mentioned it.
Delicious looking cupcake. thanks for sharing
