Sharing a card I made for Hello Bluebird today using the Farmyard Little Bits from the May release. These itty bitty piggies and cows are adorable! I don’t think I’ve colored smaller images – so this was definitely a coloring challenge for me…haha.
I colored these images earlier this week for the Kathy Racoosin Coloring challege. Once colred, I set them aside and worked on my scene.
Cows: C8, E31, E51, R20, R000; Barn: R14, R29, C8; Pigs: E01, E000; Hay: Y08, Y26
I cut the top frame from the Gallery Frame #1 die. I then masked off the area around it and ink-blended the background and the bottom cloud (Fossilized Amber and Broken China Distress Oxide inks). I wanted to sun to be peeking out from behind a top cloud.
The clouds and grass border is from the same set – Grassy Knoll. I wanted this scene to be a view of the outdoors from the inside – as if the frame were a window to the outside. I love that little cow on the left – he’s so ornery!
The frame is and clouds are all propped up with foam tape for added dimension. I tried to arrange the animals, hay, and barn to create depth perspective (as much as I could) and stamped the sentiment on the frame in the center to complete the card.
