Mama Elephant – Reindeer Games Spinner

Hello again!

I’m here to share another Mama Elephant card. I’ve used Reindeer Games to create a fun spinner card, keeping the colors pretty simple since there’s an interactive element to the card.

I started by coloring the images using copic markers. Colors used: R14, R24, B00, B24, Y02, Y18, B00, BG32, R20, G03, G17, E41, E53, E34, E25, Y28. Once colored, I used the coordinating Reindeer Games dies to cut out the images.

To create the spinner, I used the All Prettied Up die set to cut a top layer with the beautiful scalloped frame, then used the circle frame to cut out a circle – and also die cut the circle through the cardbase making sure they stack perfectly. I stamped and die cut two exact images so they can mirror when adhered together. Before adhering them together, I placed adhesive on one and added clear thread over it before topping it with the duplicate image. Then I added adhesive to the top panel and added the threaded reindeer(s) to it, pulling it taught running top and bottom.

Once the cardbase and spinner was created, I simply adhered the remaining reindeers to the card and added some simple images to the interior of the card. I used a sentiment from the Jingle Greetings set and stamped it in black on the card base and that was that! I didn’t do my usual ink-blending, but I really didn’t think it needed it.
