The Stamp Market – December 2019 Release – Stacked Love Floral Canvas Shaker Card

Hi, Friends!

It’s an exciting day today! I get to announce that I’m a new member of The Stamp Market Design Team! My loyal readers and followers on Instagram know that I ADORE The Stamp Market and I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of this team! The end of the year/new year brings so many changes and truth be told – I often get overwhelmed with all the things I have on my plate, but knowing I get to design for a wonderful company like The Stamp Market makes my heart soar! We’ve got a wonderful release for you today, so let’s talk about that!

Amy Yingling of The Stamp Market loves shaker cards and the products from this release are all made to create a variety of shaker cards, tags, etc. My shaker card today is is created with the new rectangle Shaker Frames. I used the new Floral Canvas stamp to ink up a white panel with Fresh Pink ink to stamp this gorgeous background stamp. Then to give it some depth, I ink-blended around the outer edges with Bubble Gum ink.

I die-cut my frame in white and added acetate to create my shaker window, then created a cavity for sequins to move around freely with foam adhesive. I filled my ink-blended panel with the new Crystal Confetti sequins then adhered my shaker card frame.

To decorate the front of my shaker card, I stamped the Love You Stacked words in black and then die-cut both the outline and halo in white cardstock. To give the words some color, I ink-blended Bubble Gum ink on the bottom half of each letter before glueing it over the one-piece halo.

My second card uses the Hooray Stamp & Cut Bundle. I first created my background with strips of The Stamp Market cardstock in Blush Pink, Peach, Citrine, Sea Glass, Tropical Teal, Party Pink. They are not in any particular size – just sliced at random using my trimmer.

On a white panel, I added double-sided adhesive across the center where I wanted to lay my stripes, then slowly worked from the top down, making sure each colored stripe lay perfectly under the previous.

The Hooray Stamp & Cut Bundle is a lot like the stacked words series, except they die-cut individual letters instead of attached. I used the dies to cut the letters in black and then it’s halo using white cardstock. After stacking them, I took the negative and centered it over my card panel to in-lay the letters for perfect positioning.

I made a banner out of my sentiment strip after stamping it over white cardstock, then adhered it to the center using some foam adhesive for some dimension.

And that’s a wrap for today’s release projects! Be sure to check out the blog hop below to see more inspiration from this release!
