Hi, Friends!

There’s an exciting new Altenew Release today – including stamps, dies, stencils and a new Artist Watercolor 24 Pan Set! You can see the full release HERE. I really using it to paint the Everlasting Happiness stamp set for my card today. The colors are saturated and don’t take a lot of water to soften. I stamped my images on Arches Watercolor paper with no-line ink and began painting with the Artist Watercolors. After coloring, I did a light wash of blue all over to give it a soft background.

Pink: Cherry Blossom
Purple: Shades of Purple
Greens: Green Hills, Green Meadows
Blue: Deep Blue Seas

After painting, I splatted my panel with white and black ink and trimmed my panel to mat an A2-sized card base only on the sides and adhered the two panels with foam adhesive. The sentiment is from the Just Vines stamp set and is embossed over black cardstock. Before adhering it to my card, I added foam adhesive as well as some gold thread. To finish, I added some iridescent sequins in various places.
