Hi, Friends!

Today’s post is extra special. We’re doing a surprise Instagram party for Ellen Hutson’s birthday! Happy Birthday to such a wonderful woman in this industry! I remember meeting her for the first time last January and the first thing she said to me when we got some one-on-one time was “what an I do for you?” Her goal is to make our lives better, doing what we love. How beautiful is she?? It certainly left a lasting impression and I’m thrilled to be able to celebrate her birthday today!

I made a card using the Unicorns ‘N Rainbows set. I started by stamping and coloring the images using Copic markers.

Grays:  C00, C1, C3
Reds:  R22, R24, R27
Pinks:  R00, R20, RV11, R85
Yellows:  Y00, Y15 
Greens:  G40, G43
Blues:  B000, B01
Purples:  V000, V04

For the background, I used a cloud stamp and created a repeat pattern for my images. I adhered the images foam adhesive to give them some dimension. for the sentiment, I used the That Thing You Did stamp set and embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment in white over black cardstock. I added some shimmer over the rainbow and unicorn main and as a final touch, I added a few Nuvo drops .
