Simon Says Stamp – August 2020 Card Kit Mini Blog Hop – Hello Sunshine

Hi, Friends!

We’re showcasing the August 2020 Card Kit today and I’ve made a few clean and simple cards to share! I hope you’re not tired of rainbows because I really can’t get enough!

I used the Hello Sunshine stamp set to create my cards today. There is a solid stripe stamp and I manipulated it in my MISTI to create my three cards. If you like to color customize your own rainbow, there is also an open stripe stamp as well!

I couldn’t decide if I wanted straight lines or curved and if I wanted the bands to touch, so that’s why I ended up with three cards today. I guess sometimes, doubt results in multiples!

I stamped my bands using Simon Says Stamp inks in Hot Lips, Apricot, Lemon Chiffon, Scuba, Blue Jay, Lavender and then stamped my cloud image in Sea Glass for a soft look. I fussy cut one set of clouds for each card to stamp the sentiment on and to pop up with foam adhesive for dimension.

To finish my clean and simple cards, I trimmed them to mat some Fog cardstock, then embellished them with some Sparkling Clear Confetti.

I really like ALL the cards you posted. I know what you mean about not being able to make up your mind and how it results in multiples. Happens to me all the time. I love the BBQ stamp; too bad I wasn’t able to hold a BBQ this summer. There will be other years, though. I love the color scheme of the “be the sunshine” card. Terrific work!!!
