The new STAMPtember collaboration is with Clearly Besotted! I adore the Skating Around set – it’s filled with a bunch of sweet skating critters. I could’ve expanded my scene to include more, but had the idea of a snow globe in mind and only used two of the critters for my project today.

I did some masking for the standing skater so that I could color a one-layer image for my snow globe shaker card today. I stamped and colored with Copic markers.

Skaters:  E40, E41, E42, E43, R20
Blues:  B0000, B0000, B00, B01, B28
Grays:  C0, C2, C4
Yellows:  Y11, Y13, Y38
Pine:  G21, G24, G28, G29
Reds:  R22, R24, R27
Purples:  [V000, V01], [BV0000, BV00, BV02]
Pinks:  R01, R02
Greens:  G00, G02
Teals:  BG11, BG13, BG18
Browns:  [E30, E35], [E13, E19]

My image is then splattered with white paint to give it a snowing look. While it was drying, I used a Circle die to cut the shaker window/snow globe and adhered acetate behind the panel before framing it with two layers of foam adhesive to give the sequins lots of room.

After adhering the shaker panel to my light blue background, I used a strip of kraft cardstock and used the same circle die to cut the round top before embossing the sentiment.
