Simon Says Stamp – Happy Fall Y’all Card Kit

I’m a little late to the party but I just got the kit and worked hard to get this post up! I hope you enjoy it! As you can see, there are lots of wonderful goodies in this month’s Card Kit!

I used only the stamp set for my card today but there is beautiful patterned paper from the Simple Stories Cozy Days paper pack as well as adorable stickers, cardstock, envelopes and the cutest little Loving You From Afar stamp!

I stamped and colored my images with Copics markers then fussy cut them to build my scene. Then I created a soft background by ink-blending Vintage Photo, Tumbled Glass, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. I did splatter it with some water to give it some interest.

Then I layered the images to create my scene – adhering the images in the background down first and then adding others with foam adhesive for dimension while I built my scene. The sentiment banner is a stamp that I stamped and embossed in white over black cardstock.
