The Happy Fall Y’all Card Kit was released during STAMPtember and Simon Says Stamp is hosting a fun blog hop to share more inspiration with you today!

The main stamp set with this kit – the Happy Fall Y’all stamp set is jam packed with adorable images and sentiments! By the time I had colored everything I wanted to use, I felt I needed a bigger canvas – so my card is a 5″ x 7″ card. With a twist, I made this a bridge card. The “canvas” is the same size, but it allows for the recipient to display the card and fits in an envelope.

To create my card, I started with a sheet of white cardstock that is 7″ x 8″. Before scoring, I ink-blended the panel first – this keeps the colors from catching to score lines that make any lines more prominent. I ink-blended with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks – sprayed it with water and splattered paint, then set it aside to dry while I colored my images.

I colored my images with Copic markers, then fussy cut the images with my scissors. Then to cut a grassy border to line the bottom of my card, I used the Grassy Edges die and trimmed this to be 5″ wide.

At this point, you can place the dry card panel in a scoring tool in landscape orientation and score at 1.5″ and 3″ from each end.

To form the bridge card, I adhered the grass edge across the bottom, adding adhesive only to the left and right tabs. I did the same with the sentiment banner to give my bridge more support and then began attaching the rest of the images to my card to create my scene.
