What a fun release Pinkfresh Studio has to compliment their slimline dies! We have new slimline stamps, dies and layering stencils! I was so excited about these products and hope you’ll catch all the inspiration with this blog hop – all the stops should feature a variety of products for you to see ALL the new products!

Today’s card features the Be Courageous stamp, die, and stencils. You could very well color after stamping this set, but I wanted to use the stencils to show you that you can add color with ink using the easy layering stencils! I used a variety of inks to make my card extra colorful – without having to mask (Grassy Knoll, Olive, Lemon Whip, Peach Fuzz, Sky Blue, Soft Lilac, Coral Reef).

After adding color, I used the coordinating die to cut out the center and used the largest Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die to die cut a border. I was able to run these through the die-cutting machine at the same time. I think used Grassy Knoll and added color all the way around to intensify the floral frame. I set that aside to work on the background.

On a prepared cardbase, I stenciled a faint pattern in light gray (Misty Cove) using the Diagonal Stripes Stencil. Then I embossed the sentiment in the center and attached my floral panel over that using foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension. To finish, I attached a few Jewels!
