My Favorite Things – Adorable Adventures

I’ve been playing catch up with cute MFT stamps from their September release. This is the last one for this month – using the Adorable Adventures set. My bucket list includes visiting and camping in Colorado – my husband and I have a lot of trouble planning outings like this because we’ve been raising kids for so long and keep making excuses about being too busy!

To create my scene, I stamped lots of images and then realized when I was done that it wouldn’t all fit onto an A2-sized card.

Copic markers used:
Olive: G82, G94, G99
Denim: B95, B97, B99
Boy Hair: E42, E43, E47
Skin: R20, E000, E51, E11
Girl Hair, Shorts, Sign: E30, E31, E35, E39
Blues: BG000, BG01, BG05
Reds: RV13, R32, R35, R37, R39
Mountains: W1, W3, W5, W7
Rock: C1, C3, C5
Bushes: YG23, Y00, Y15, YR04, R05
Trees: G24, G28, G29

For my background, I ink-blended Mermaid Lagoon for the sky and Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs for the ground. Then I splattered it with blue and brown paint in those areas with their respective colors to give them more texture.

One my background was created, I trimmed it down to give it fresh edges and to mat my 3.5″ x 8.5″ cardbase. Then I filled my scene with the colored images.

I left the space in the center under the sign blank so that I could stamp my sentiment.
