I’ve got a card made using 2 new products today – the Outline Merry Christmas Background and a new Peace die from Cathy Zielske.

I began by stamping and embossing the background over white cardstock with clear embossing power. Then, I ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks using Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, and Speckled Egg (from top to bottom). After ink-blending, I added some splatters with white and teal paint to give the panel lots of interest.

Then using the Peace die, Ii die cut the word from gold glitter cardstock and the base with vellum. I attached the word die to the vellum using foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension.

To give my panel more interest, I did cut foliage from the Christmas Foliage die set that I lightly ink-blended with Pine Needles Distress Ink. I also dusted the pine sprigs and berries with Unicorn Dust to give them texture and sparkle.
