Simon Says Stamp – Limited Edition Easter 2021 Card Kit

Hey Friends!

I’m so excited to share this card with you! The Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Easter 2021 Card Kit is here and it is jam packed with adorable products! I used a several things from the kit to create my project today, including the Little Chick Die, Egg Hunt Stencil, You Make Me Hoppy stamp set, all the single cardstock sheets, ink and blending brush!

The Little Chick Die is certainly my favorite so I knew I’d have to use that. I die-cut them from the cardstock in the kit for the bodies (SSS Banana, SSS Cotton Candy, SSS Lavender and Bazzill Juicy Pear (I link Green Apple below because it’s a close green color). For the bellies, I used Cream cardstock. I cut the face with white and colored the individual pieces with Copic markers and used the negative as a template to in-lay them onto the chicks.

I stamped the Egg Hunt image from the You Make Me Hoppy stamp set. This is a 6″ x 8″ stamp set filled with bunny images that I will surely use for another card. Because it’s a part of the kit, I felt I need to incorporate it on my card and thought the little sign image was a good one to use for my card today. I also embossed a sentiment to use too.

Copic Colors Used:
Pinks: R20, R22, R24
Oranges: R15, Y38
Greens: YG06, YG09
Blues: BG000, BG01, BG05
Browns: E31, E34, E37
Grays: W00, W1, W4
Black: 110

My background is first ink-blended at the bottom using the Hybrid Mini Ink Cubes in the kit – I used Spring Rain to ink-blend the bottom, then I used the Egg Hunt Stencil to ink-blend with Sea Glass Dye Ink (not included in the kit). After the background was complete, I added my images using foam adhesive and attached my sentiment.
