Mother’s Day seems far away but I know it will creep up before we know it! I didn’t think winter would ever pass and here we are, officially in spring! I’m sharing a Mother’s Day card using two sets from Pretty Pink Posh’s latest release.
I’m sure you can spot the big decorative letters from Pretty Pink Posh and the Mom set is sure to make a statement! I stamped and embossed that using white embossing powder for the background of my shaker and ink-blended it using Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Inks.
On a separate panel, I die-cut the mom outline to create my shaker window. I used acetate and foam adhesive to seal my shaker window over some Sparkling Clear Confetti sequins. I’ll go ahead and mention now that the sentiment is embossed from the Mom set as well so we can move on to the adorable images!
The sweet birds are from the Spring Robins set! I love the branch (so versatile) and the bird’s nest and eggs too! It’s a mini set so its affordable and though it would pair well with the Mom set. I simply colored them with Copic markers. After die-cutting, I used the images to create a little scene beneath the MOM shaker. I hope you like it!
